Our Vision We are creating an intergenerational cohousing community on the east side of Lake Washington, across from Seattle. It will be within walking distance of public transportation, essential services, shopping, and restaurants, with either clustered housing or a multistory building. Our goal is to maximize energy efficiency, social interactions, and green space. We will support one another, share skills, facilities and resources where it makes sense, have fun together, and respect privacy and independence where it is needed and desired. We will live intentionally to limit our ecological footprint. Our decision-making and group process is inclusive, as simple as possible, flexible, and transparent. |

We are a new, passionate, and determined small group. We began with an idea. And now in 2021, after enduring a year of Covid-19’s endless stream of Zoom meetings, we have five committed member families, an LLC, a website, and have put in place many of the needed infrastructures. We were brought together by our vision of starting the first Eastside cohousing community. Common Vu is our common view. If you are interested in more information about us, contact us!
